PANTAI PLENGKUNG

Adapun obyek wisatanya adalah selancar air yang bertaraf internasional. Jenis obyeknya disebut-sebut lebih baik dari pada yang terletak di Pulau Bali karena ombaknya besar, pantai landai jauh dari arus dasar laut.

Untuk mencapai lokasi wisata Plengkung sebenarnya tidak sulit. Jarak Pantai Plengkung dari Kota Banyuwangi adalah 87 Km. dari Banyuwangi kendaraan roda empat dapat mencapai desa/tempat yang disebut Trianggulasi. Untuk angkutan kendaraan roda empat umum hanya sampai di Desa Benculuk ataupun Kota Muncar. Selanjutnya adalah sewa / carter. Jarak dari Banyuwangi sampai Desa Trianggulasi adalah ± 74 km dengan waktu tempuh sekitar 2,5 jam dimana kondisi jalan cukup baik. Terakhir untuk mencapai tempat selancar air plengkung ditempuh dengan jalan kaki ± 12 km selama 3 jam.

Alternatif lain untuk mencapai lokasi ini dapat menggunakan speed boad (carter) dari Kota Grajagan atau dari Benoa Denpasar dengan jetfoil dengan catatan faktor alam yaitu ombak, cuaca sangat mempengaruhi lamanya waktu tempuh. Adapun waktu terbaik untuk ke lokasi ini disarankan sekitar bulan April – Oktober.

Bagi wisatawan yang membawa kendaraan sendiri, perlu diketahui bahwa pompa bensin terakhir ada di Kota Muncar, kemudian kantor penghubung/informasi di tempat terakhir sebelumnya adalah Kantor Taman Nasional Alas Purwo yang terletak di Desa Pasar Anyar.

PLENGKUNG

Plengkung (G-land) is located in the south part of Banyuwangi city and has limited condition and facilities to reach there.

The tourism object available there is a surfing in international level. The typical sea waves are called better than in Bali Island because the wave is big and the coast is wide. Reaching Plengkung tourism area is actually not difficult. The distance of Plengkung beach from the city of Banyuwangi is 87 km. you can drive a four wheel car to a place called Trianggulasi. The public transportation of four wheel car is generally stop at the village of Benculuk or the city of Muncar. Then, Charter system can be done. From Banyuwangi to the village of Trianggulasi is about 74 km with 2,5 hours traffic and the road condition is relatively good. Finaly, to reach Plengkung location of surfing, visitors have to walk for 12 km within 3 hours.

Other alternative to reach this location is by using speed boats from the city Grajagan or using jet oil/from Benoa Denpasar. It is noted that natural wave and weather condition affect the time of sailing. The best time to go there is in the months of April to October. For tourists who the last gasoline/petrol station is information office is in Alas Purwo National ark in the village of Pasar Anyar.
